Memorial Service

Tonight I catered a memorial service for a very well loved man. I tried to match his charm with these fruit platters.

I did sandwiches for the main dish:
Chicken salad sandwiches with grapes, pineapple, and cashews on a croissant.
Spicy Tuna (most popular) with jalapenos, pepperjack cheese, and spicy dijon mustard on sweet honey wheat.
Roast beef with horseradish, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce on three cheese bread
California veggie with avacado, mayo, cucumber, lettuce, tomato, and onion on whole grain.

For dessert I hired a great friend with a wonderful cookie business. He made four delicious gourmet cookies:
Triple Chocolate Chip (dark, milk and semisweet)
Circus Peanut Crunch (whole peanuts)
Hide and Seek Raisin Oatmeal (walnuts and chocolate covered raisins)
Dark Forest (Chocolate chunks, dried cherries, and a hint of espresso)

Tonight was such a success.

Cake anyone?

One of my best friends was just recently married. She had a gorgeous wedding that I was so glad I was able to make it to. Not only was I able to make it there but I also made her cake.
